Top Q: What does a subscription to Boys' Life cost?A: A year's subscription to Boys' Life costs $12, or $1 per month if done when registering with the BSA. Be aware that the subscription will not begin for at least 2 months after you register. To subscribe, fill in the Boys' Life circle on the application.
Top Q: What are the pack's program fees?A: Each year in the spring/summer the pack decides on what activities and adventures it wants to have for the coming year. Boys make suggestions and adults investigate the possibilities--costs, logistics, etc. From this a budget is developed and presented in September for the coming year.
Many boys use the annual popcorn sales fund raiser to pay part or all of their program costs for the year. Boys who earn money beyond the pack fees can apply that to council events such as snow capades, day camp, and resident camp. Any funds left over at the end of their Cub Scout years can be brought forward to Boy Scouts.
When finished, a detailed budget will be linked on the Introduction to Scouting page.
